10. I have a distro/ shop and I want to distribute some titles from your catalog,
how do I proceed? |
If you want us to open an online account for you, please contact dave@conspiracyrecords.com with following information (or follow the steps online to register):
- Details of your business; are you a shop, online store, wholesale distributor, mailorder, …?
- Your full ‘official’ invoicing address (if applicable)
- Your international VAT nr (if applicable)
- Your shipping address (including possible door codes)
- Your phone & faxnr(s), emailaddress and website URL
- An estimated monthly orderamount
- Your preferred method of payment
After receiving this info we will get back to you with your log-in and password, so you can acces the wholesale website and order online.
We accept following methods of payment:
- banktransfer (preferred)
- paypal
- credit card
There’s no minimum order amount, but do note that wholesale
rates normally start from 5 copies on.
All wholesale orders come with an invoice, so please do not ask us to
sell without invoice, or to send shipments out with ‘low value’ (for non EU customers).
All damaged goods / orders must be reported within 5 days after delivery. |

| You are of course free to send us a promotional parcel with your releases, we hardly take on new labels, but you never know, right? |
| 12. What is the best way to pay for my order? |

| 13. I play in a band and I want to send my demo. What do I do? |
This what happens when you send in a demo: It gets to our po box, - Joris gets
on his bike to empty the po box once a week. He drives through rain and wind
and carries your demo to our office. There's more imminent questions to be
answered when he gest in than 'any good demos arrived?' (fact is, the majority of demos we
receive are basicly crap. - you gotta hear it to believe it - maybe one day
we will open a sectioon on our website with the most hilarious fragments of
demos we receive on a daily basis). Back to the more immenent questions to
be answered for Joris: ...'yes I do take milk in my coffee please', 'No Nathan, i didnt make out with that
guy'... So, your demo is now in our office, and ends up on a pile 'to listen to' strategicaly situated on Joris' desk.
The pile in fact is growing everyday, until it
collapses, Joris then takes all cd's out of the enveloppes and reduces the pile in front of him, just so he can delay to listen to the demos.
Then, he waits until a courageous moment - Joris sometimes has rare moments like that, and when he does we know he will
start a demo listening session. He then slides the first one in, kinda cranks it
out, and after approx 20 seconds Vincent who he shares office with will
launch his firts complaint...'Pfff, do we need to listen to this?...' - Joris will then
carefuly try to to explain it is part of running a label, checking out new
music by enthousiast musicians, but Vincent is usualy not convinced, and with his looks will put the blame for listening to bad music back to Joris.
To kind of temper his mood Joris will take the
first demo out after 50 seconds and move on to the second demo of the pile,
keeping in mind there's about 20 to go. Vincent then usualy gets on the
phone, in order to have a reason why Joris should get the volume down.
Joris will get frustrated, and takes the second demo out and waits until Vincent
dissappears... which usualy doesn't happen...
A week later, the pile of demo's collapses again on Joris' desk, in an enlighted
moment he grabs all demo cd's and throws 'em in a box.
7 months later. Christmas is coming. We get a phone call from a recordstore,
do we have any used cd's we can spare so they can decorate the huge
christmas tree they have in front of their store.
Yes, we do. There's this box, full of demo cd's - don't tell anyone, but you
can have those for your christmas tree....
We are sorry - but this kind of sums up the route your demo will very likely
undergo when you send your demo to us.
You know what? stop polluting the world a little, get yourself a myspace
account, and we can check your tunes before you spend your money on sending
us your demo - after all , it might end up in a christmas tree... |
